Trees

We spend this Saturday cutting down some trees in our yard. Uncle Gavin and Nana and Grandad came out to help.

Alannah found a lizard, who probably lost his home when we moved a pile of rocks at the base of a dead tree.

We also found this gigantic Black widow spider....agh, the kids play around those rocks all the time!!! (He was killed shortly after this picture)

Rearranging

I've been doing some rearranging on the blog. I'm trying to get all the dates to match when the event actually happened, not when I posted it (since it usually takes me a while to post). So, start at the beginning of the year and make your way up to the top, just to make sure you didn't miss anything. :)

The Fort

We made a fort today and they loved it. We've made forts before but they usually only last a few minutes. This one they left up for hours. They crawled in and out, read books and brought blankets and pillows in to make more comfortable. They are so cute.

Look how Big you are...

Since Daddy had guard this weekend we went to the park. They can do so much by themseves, I have to remember to step back and let them learn (It sure is scary to see your 2 yr olds climbing up on the playground). They are climbing everything, even the complicated ladders(like the ones that look like swirls) and go down the slides all by themselves, even head first (that one we learned from our friend Hudson). They are getting so big!

Visiting Nana

Since Friday was such a beautiful day we decided to take a walk to visit Nana, who works at the Elementary school behind our hosue. It's a nice walk, less than 20 minutes pulling a wagon. We love running around the library and Nana always has fun things to play with and yummy snacks.

Princess Bella

I was going through Bella's closet the other day (this is the time of year when it's stuffed full because it's in between seasons, sometimes it's freezing outside and then a few days later it's 80 degrees). Well, I noticed this pretty blue number that Nana gave us a while back. Once Bella spoted it, she fell in love. She said it was her princess dress. She put it on, and then asked where her crown was (also a gift from Nana :) We love princesses. Then we danced around the kitchen singing "so this is love" from Cinderella.

She is so darn cute!

Little miss independent

After 3 times potty training ending in failure in the last year you get a little tired. If only I wasn't so short fused. So Zach offered to potty train the kids 2 weekends ago. He did a great job. Ander was using the potty but Bella wasn't really interested. After 2 sucessful days, we all got sick. Ander got a stomach bug and Bella, the flu. So there goes potty training number 4! Well after everyone was feeling better, Bella woke up one morning and said she wanted to use the potty! She has been in big girl undies ever since. I am so proud of my little Bella. Little miss independent.
